Earth Hour ☀

We switched off the lights for earth hour today, joining millions of people throughout the world to conserve energy and reflect on the impact of our activities on mother earth. So we went for a walk and my buddy Maxxy and family are able to join us! yay!

Well, we had been observing earth hour almost every night by taking an hour walk for the past couple of years. This way, we tried to save energy, plus it is much cooler to walk at night and good exercise before sleeping. I highly recommend it!
With many lights switched off, we can finally see the stars shining brightly. Now i know the three dots are called the Orion Belt, and the brightest star nearby is called Sirius, thanks to maxxy's mommy and daddy! Sorry no photos - save energy ;)

This year's motto ;- Go beyond earth hour - we have the power to change the way we live ;)
