****FORT CANNING****
This is an old old place dated back to 14th century when Singapore was still known as Temasek. During the second world war, this place become a military base when we were still under the colonial rule. Today, it is a public park where the old fort still stands, where young couples get married in the Registry of Marriage inside the park, some high-class restaurants, just behind the National Museum and at night, it sometimes holds public screening of movies or even a concert! All right in the middle of busiest shopping district.
This place used to be a Christian Cemetery. The walls are actually the tombstones with names on them. They run along the perimeter of the cemetery.
This is the Fort gate leading to 14th Century Walk.
Going back in time.....
Quiet place and great for hikes!

Thanks for letting us see some more of your world, Zackt. That fort is really cool, and we loved that majestic tree too. All it needs now is a Starbucks:)
